WOYWW 293 .......REALLY?

Hi Peeps . .....On my desk  at the weekend this week I had . . . . . . .  Christmas ....... Yes REALLY!

You didn't think I would get to it did you?
I have been making my cards for next December .... I like to be ahead of the game, me!
I have made about 30 this week and will make a few now and again for the next week.... in between working in my DLP journal...... Of which I now have 2... an A4 journal and an A5 planner.

My messy desk Tuesday........ there was this a double page spread  ...A new dawn..... it went a bit wrong but I'm working on it with my new Inktense watercolour pencils..... I love these..... the colours are so .... intense... sorry!

My main desk on a cold, dark, damp miserable Tuesday evening ...My planner.
This week's prompt is " the beginning is always today" a quote by Mary Shelley.
I think it is almost done maybe just a little black doodling on the green bits ... which look like toes to me ha ha.
Just in case you are wondering the chocolate boxes on the left contain pens ... sadly not chocolate.... but I did eat them..... yum yum! .... and there are more Minions hiding in the still unfinished glasses box at the back.... Mmm  what will I make with those?
Finally on my desk at the weekend was this lovely pile of new stash .... all from the lovely Jackie at  scrap bang wallop

I was the lucky winner of her followers giveaway.... thanks so much..... I have used some of it already on my Christmas cards.
Anyway ..thanks for popping by..... I hope you enjoyed the peek  .... do visit Julia at  stamping-ground   ......head desk keeper and all round good egg for organising this weekly party.
If you leave a comment I will visit you back.... even if you are very messy.

  3. You've been so busy this week!! BRAVO on the jump with your Christmas cards!!! I had to resort to making "winter" cards as I wasn't able to get all the Christmas cards out that I wanted to this year. Oh well, at least they won't be "late", right?? Congrats on winning such lush goodies!

    Happy Crafting!

  8. I can't believe you're doing Christmas cards for December, LOL! I think I've overdosed on Christmas, winter, etc and I'm just glad to be doing something else! Great DLP layouts! I'm ding it too! First year for me. Enjoying it so far. I'm just working in a small journal to get the hang of it. Maybe next year I'll do the full sized Dylusions. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #47

  9. Intense stuff. Love the bright colours. I've cut and enveloped 90 cards for next xmas. Think that's enough. Can't decide how to decorate them as not very happy with how a stamp came out. Might just have to cross stitch 90 motifs then-HAR HAR HAR HAR. See you friday. Looking forward to throwing some balls. Lucy #24 x

  11. I've made lots of jokes about how I was glad that the holidays and holiday hoopla was over so I could get back to working on my Christmas cards. I've not been as productive with them as you have, but I have made a few! Fun new stash to play with! How neat to have won them. Judy #74

  12. Wow, you made out like a BANDIT. Jackie is extremely generous, isn't she?

You have a lot going on at your desk. I love the idea of making Christmas cards when the snow is flying and the weather is so cold. I think it's better than waiting till the end of the year, then rushing around like I seem to do every year! Happy WOYWW from # 2.

  15. Another Inktense fan. I love them too. In fact, I love all the Derwent products and am addicted to them. That sunrise is just stunning. Thank you for your visit. You are right about stamp sorting - my fingers are covered in black ink. All good fun. By the way, I have done most of my Christmas cards for 2015, mainly because they did not sell at the Christmas fair due to lack of people there. So I can concentrate on making some of my presents instead. Have a good week. xx Maggie #27

  18. There are a lot of WOYWWers getting ready for next Xmas, I suppose it makes sense while the stash is still out, might have to think about that next year, I put all mine away as soon as I'd finished the cards this year. Love the look of your journal, the colours are gorgeous.

  20. Hi Janet. What a haul on the giveaway. Go you! I'll start on my Christmas cards on the 25th. That's what I'm designating that day for each month until my cards are done. HATED sending boxed cards this year. DP page is coming along nicely. I've not started Week 2 yet... at least not tangible. I have it in my head ;-) Creative Blessings! Kelly #70

  21. Isn't it true though, when the pressure's off, and the stuff is still knocking about, there's bags seasonal inspiration! well done you! I'm not a big colourer but am really taken with the inktense pencils..I agree with you. Lovely intense colours!

  22. I do agree, I made about 10 Christmas cards in the first 10 days after Christmas. But that will probably be it until about October time, I am impressed with the amount you have made so far.
I love inktense pencils too, especially on white silk, the colour takes so well.
